danedon: My name is Don Andersen. My Folks, C.Daniel and Martha Andersen got married in the Baptist Church in Dannebrog, Nebraska, August 28, 1929, and graduated from Moody Bible Institute. They went to the Belgium Congo with UTM as missionaries from 1930 - 1940. My 3 sisters, Rachel, Marilyn & Carolyn (twins) were born in the Congo. My brother David was born when they were on Furlough in Nebraska and Dad was the Pastor of the Baptist Church in Chambers, Neb. They translated the bible into 2 dialects of the African Language, Kiyaka & Kikongo. I was born, in 1942, in Canby Oregon. I have 2 younger brothers, Dan & Tim. David died at the age of 28 from Muscular Dystrophy. I am married to Maryann Loupee (1965) and we have 3 lovely children. The 2 older ones, Donita (1966) Craighead and Denise (1969) Wright still live in Florida and our son, Darby lives with us. Darby (1972) is Down Syndrome. We have 5 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild in Florida! Donita is a Para-legal Supervisor with the State Attorney’s Office in Tampa. Denise is a Partner in the law firm of FordHarrison, in Ft. Myers. In 2009, I retired from the IT Dept of Nationwide Insurance. We spend winters in Florida.
